Thank you for visiting!
I have been teaching for over 15 years, including 13 years in Grimsby. With a background in health research, I bring an intellectual curiosity to the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation.
Begin where you are...
The exploration of yoga is a journey that begins where you are, allowing you to discover, develop and deepen your practice at any stage of life.
The name Methodology Yoga reflects an interest in the history of yoga as a system for pursuing union of the self with the Universal, and also as a practical approach to serving the needs of body, mind and spirit from day to day.
Classes generally incorporate three inter-related aspects of practice to support well-being: pranayama, or breath control, to calm/revitalize the nervous system; asana, or poses, to build strength and agility in the body; and meditation or relaxation, to calm the mind. Yoga philosophy is touched on.
Classes are held VIRTUALLY while
Trinity United Church
(100 Main Street West, Grimsby)
is closed due to COVID-19

I welcome you to explore yoga and meditation, beginning with the essentials and building a personal, evolving practice. Now more than ever, we need to calm our busy minds, be present in our bodies, and nurture the spirit.
“Yoga does not just change the way we see things,
it transforms the person who sees.”
B.K.S. Iyengar
